Connect
The Connect Widget lets you add the all-powerful Register with LinkedIn and Register with Facebook buttons on your event website to drive social registrations.
Creating the Widget#
To create the Connect Widget follow the steps as below -
- Login to app.eventnx.com and navigate to
Eventsfrom the Sidebar - Click on
Editfrom the Actions column in the Events list shown on the page, note - if you haven't already created your event then do that first. - On the Event Settings page from the Event Settings, navigate to the
Widgetssection
Once you are on the Widgets section, follow the below steps -
- Click on
Create Widgetfrom the top right corner. - Click on
Selectnext to the Connect widget under the Widget Options - Once selected, on the right side enter a name for your widget and choose or set a channel for the widget.
You can now start configuring the widget. Also, you can always change the widget name and channel for existing widgets by navigating to More > Edit from the Widgets section.
Configuring the Widget#

For already created widgets, you can go back to the Widgets section, and use the More > Settings to update the configuration settings
Registration URL ⚠️#
Once the user registers using LinkedIn or Facebook, you want the user to redirect to the registration form. Set the registration form url below for the widget.
Note - This is an important setting to ensure the widget works correctlyContainer CSS Selector ⚠️#
To load the Connect Widget, the script expects a DIV container already present on your page. If you have not already created a container on your page then simply create the below div on your page
The default CSS Selector is #enx-connect-widget, if you want it to load to another container then set the respective container's CSS selector in this setting.
Once the above settings are set press Save, you are now ready to install the widget on your page! 😇
